Dens will assemble a rocket at den meetings then bring to the air base for a day of launch fun.
This year’s rocket launch will be 5/17 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at Horsham Air Base (39 Easton Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.) Don’t forget to bring your rocket! Engines will be provided onsite. -You do not need to stay for the whole event. Depending on how long you stay you’ll be able to launch multiple times (assuming it doesn’t enter the upper atmosphere, in which case, that’s a pretty cool way to lose a rocket).
-For the day of the event we will have water available. We encourage you to bring reusable cups/water bottles, snacks, sunblock and chairs as there is no seating on the runway.
