Campout Fort Washington State Park
Date: Oct. 11 ~2:00 PM – Oct. 12 10:00 AM
Cost: $30 per family (any size). Please fill out the headcount form found here before Sept 1st.
Location: Campsite C (rustic group camping loop)
Directions: Take the Militia Hill Road entrance and drive up the hill until you reach the Hawk Observatory. Then, turn right (at the road with the yellow gate, not the first one, which is just a parking lot). Drive halfway down to see campsite C on the left.

Loose Camping Agenda
- 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Arrival Parents set up tents Collect firewood pile Distribute skits paperwork
- 3:00 PM – Official start flag ceremony
- 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM – hike the loop to the playground (families bring their own snacks to this)
- 5:30 PM – Older kids will cut up the food for tin wraps. Group play activity (or just downtime)
- 6:00 PM – Dinner assembly line for families to guide kids and themselves in building their own individual foil packages. Foil wraps content options: potatoes, green peppers, onions, hamburger, hot dogs
- 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM – Cooking & eating – Dens + families eat as groups Cleanup
- 7:15 PM – Sun set | Lower flag w/ceremony | light up campfire
- 7:30 PM – Campfire program (master of ceremonies leads, dens perform skits, leaders go last)
- 8:00 PM – Cracker barrel (S’mores provided by Pack 88)
- 10:00 PM – lights out
- Oct 12 8:00 – 9:00 AM – Scrambled eggs and Bagel breakfast and break camp
